Yolanda is a full Chilean import, she is a beautiful medium fawn female Huacaya with impeccable conformation. Julio Sumar and Maggie Kreiger selected Yolanda for Maria Bravo owner of Quintessence Farm. Yolanda was in the last import group allowed in the U.S. She has and extremely dense topknot and thick blanket, neck and legs, with a soft handle and fine crimp consistent from nose-to-toe. Her 2001 fleece weight was 5.0lbs (blanket only) with a (MC 21.8; SD 4.1; CV 18.8). She is a big girl and is large boned and is very correct.

We can always count on Yolanda to give us beautiful female cria. Her 2002 cria, Puchita is a beautiful white female Huacaya with great conformation, an elegant head, and strong bone structure. Her fleece is a soft supple fiber that has a brilliance not often seen on other white Huacayas, she just drips with luster. Her crimp and uniformity are true representation of what we are breeding for at Warford Creek. Not to disappoint, Yolanda’s 2003 cria Warford Creek Lily, sired by Accoyo Pachacuti, StudmasterTM Male is even nicer! Lily has a brilliant white fleece that is both ultra crimpy and extraordinarily dense and just drips with luster and her lock structure is consistent throughout her fleece. Lily also has the nose-to-toe coverage everyone is looking for, not to mention topnotch conformation!

Yolanda is an attentive mother and has the ability to provide abundant milk with high IgG to her cria. She is an easy breeder and produces large healthy babies. To date, Yolanda has produced consistent high quality cria, always producing better than herself, even when bred to a variety of sires. If bred to a color male she should produce color. She is a rich colored medium fawn with a lot of gray coloring on her face. She has been an excellent addition to our herd and can be counted on to produce high-end cria.
