The Alpaca Fiber Cooperative of North America (AFCNA) is an agricultural cooperative formed and owned by alpaca producers in North America for the purpose of collecting and processing alpaca fiber and distributing alpaca fiber and related products and the profit from them to its owners (members). Our goal is to maximize the long-term benefits to our members, the individual alpaca fiber producers, and to the alpaca breeding industry as a whole.

MaPaca is a cooperative group of approximately 80 alpaca breeders in the Mid-Atlantic states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. We are a diverse group with herd sizes ranging from 2 to over 200 alpacas. On our farms you will find some of the most exquisite alpacas in the world in a natural rainbow of colors. We have hundreds of huacayas and suris representing some of the most well-established bloodlines in the country with over 4 generations of successful, documented reproductive history! Combine this with the recent addition of exciting new breeding stock imported from Peru, Bolivia, and Chile and you have a tremendous selection to begin your foundation herd or add that missing element to your existing herd.
